In the stone-built mansion of the Palamas family, Panagiotis Palamas was born in 1722, the ancestor of Palamas family and the teacher of our genus. Our national poet Kostis Palamas lived and grew up in this house from 1867 until 1875. The Museum in its rooms houses exhibits from the life and work of the Messolonghi poet and his family, as well as personal items, utensils, photographic material, etc.
