TRADITIONAL CHEESE FACTORY ATHANASIOS MAKRIS AND SONS GP

In our cheese factory we produce traditional cheeses using fresh, sheep and goat Greek milk from mountainous areas of the prefecture of Aetoloakarnania. The products of MAKRIS family with their wide variety are based exclusively on quality and tradition.

Our products are the following:

Graviera - Long Ripened Graviera - Spicy Graviera - Kefalograviera P.D.O. Kassioupipero (spicy cheese) - Pecorino - Kefalotyri - Anthotyro – Mizithra of Fresh maturation - Feta PDO – Goats Feta.

GRAVIERA of LONG RIPENING stands out for its intense, full flavor and rich aroma! It matures on special wooden shelves under ideal temperatures and ideal humidity conditions to reach the desired quality!!! We follow daily the course of cheese and through love, passion, and knowledge we achieve the quality we want.

Our GRAVIERA is distinguished by its pleasant, sweet taste, its rich aroma, its low salt content and its yellow color. What makes it stand out is the traditional way of preparation in combination with technology and the selected pure and mountainous sheep and goat milk that we collect daily.

Our ANTHOTYRO is rich in nutrients and low in salt content. It is suitable for those who follow a balanced diet.
