He has been involved in the cultivation of rice since 1997.

Since 2002 he has been involved in the programs of integrated management product (compliance with the EU directive). Collaboration that continues even today.

In 2006 he comes in collaboration with an agronomist within the framework of the program "agricultural consultant" of MRDF. Cooperation that continues even today.

In 2010 he is part of the integrated management programs of agricultural utilisation and in collaboration with AIFORIKI S.A. company enters the monitoring regime of agricultural production and in 2011 enters the transitional phase of organic rice cultivation in collaboration with the organic certification company IRIS based in Heraklion, Crete.

Since 2013, he is a certified organic farmer and with a license from February 2014 of the certification mark of the organic products company.

Certified for the growing season 2015 - 2016 by TUV AUSTRIA according to GLOBAL in the production and packaging process.

Collaborates with the company AFOI Argyraki (certified in the processing of organic products) for the export of organic product

Member of the integrated management team of the 1st AGRICULTURAL COOPERATIVE OF CHALASTRA. He has been one of the first growers in Greece to grow new varieties of rice such as long grain aromatic rice of the type "basmati" and short grain rice of the variety "tonto". The cultivation takes place in the plain of Messolonghi in Evinochori village within an area of ​​2,000 acres with the name "Gyra Makri".

From 2015 onwards the organic product is packaged and available under the name "Tastes of the Earth" from the store in Messolonghi, 4 El. Venizelou st, as well as a complete network of partners throughout Greece and abroad such as: Italy, Romania, Norway, Cyprus and England.
