The Center for Speech and Art "DIEXODOS", is an active cell of culture of Western Greece, promoting the culture of the place.

It is housed in the historic house of the Commander of the Messolonghi Guard during the heroic Exodus, General Athanasios Razi-Kotsika. It houses a permanent, museum-style collection, which includes historical relics, ancient objects, rare documents as well as engravings, sculptures and paintings. At the same time, it holds all kinds of cultural events such as exhibitions, presentations and speeches.

Cultural Library

In 2014, the operation of the Cultural Library of the Speech and Art Center "DIEXODOS" was inaugurated for the first time.

The library is housed in a completely renovated building of 1868, on Ragou Street, in Messolonghi and is a valuable center of culture, with 2,000 books.

The books are of two orientations. There you can find books related to the history of Messolonghi, on the other hand books related to every art form: Painting, Engraving, Sculpture, Hagiography, Photography, Music, Dance, Theater, Cinema, Museums, Art galleries, Artists, Architecture, Architecture, Environment, Archaeological sites, Albums of Cities, Art etc.

In the same area you will find a section of Cultural Archives, which includes a wide variety of rare documents, while the building will even have Art Workshops, for those who are thirsty for artistic creation.
