The Chamber of Aetoloakarnania in the context of the implementation of the operation Holistic networking of creative industries through hubs - Creative @ Hubs", co-organized the 9th knowledge enhancement workshop on: « INNER HUMAN BEING & PHOTOGRAPHY- VASILIS NEMBEGLERIOTIS - Presentation of a Photographic Project» in collaboration with "PHOTOPOLIS" & "ART8"

The 9th cultural industry workshop entitled "INNER HUMAN BEING & PHOTOGRAPHY - VASILIS NEMBEGLERIOTIS - Presentation of a Photographic Project" was successfully held as part of the strategic project "Creative @ Hubs" on Saturday, October 30 at 19:00 in the Conference Hall of the Chamber of Aetoloakarnania.. The workshop was opened by the hub manager of Creative @ Hub Vassilis Artikos who after welcoming the participants proceeded to the presentation of the two speakers, Mr. Panagiotis Kaltsas (President of the Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival) and Mr. Vassilis Nebegleriotis (Photographer). Then Mr. Panagiotis Kaltsas spoke, who after thanking the project team leaders for the cooperation, welcomed Vassilis Nebegleriotis while referring to their first meeting at the opening of the Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival and the festival competition with the subject “Keep distance” in which Vassilis Nebegleriotis had won the 1st Photography Award. Then, moving on to the topic of the workshop, he spoke about the Document Photo, in which, as he said, the main topic is the man and his relations with society, while many times his goal is to influence and change situations. He referred to the evolution of this type of photography over time, how its credibility was questioned for the accuracy of the facts it depicts, for artists who believed in the power of photography to show the world the truth and finally how this type of photography is used today and how it was an important means of recording. He then made a reference to the biography of Nebegleriotis and his works, giving him the floor at the same time. Vassilis Nebegleriotis introduced himself to the public and talked about the way he works, presenting photographic material of his current work. After that, he proceeded to the presentation of his 1st complete work on "Meadow of daffodil…" and his 2nd work entitled "Chiron" while talking about how each of his works was inspired and what each one means for himself. He closed his presentation with the photo that won the 1st prize at the Photopolis Agrinio Photo Festival competition, followed by a discussion with the public and the attendees had the opportunity to ask their questions to the speakers. The workshop was also broadcast with LIVE STREAMING through the page of the Chamber of Aetoloakarnania on Facebook. At the end of the workshop, a buffet with coffee, soft drinks and delicacies was offered outside the Conference Hall.
