7th Cultural Industry Workshop (Creative@Hubs)

The Chamber of Aetoloakarnania in the context of the implementation of the operation "Holistic networking of creative media through collaborative spaces (hubs) Holistic networking of creative industries through hubs - Creative @ Hubs", co-organized the 7th  knowledge enhancement workshop on:

"Speech - Rhythm - Melody. The composition of music and its basic components " in collaboration with "International group of artists (Waav Kollektiv)"

The 7th workshop of the cultural industry that took place within the framework of the “Creative @ Hubs” program was successfully held on Thursday, October 14th at 18:00 pm. with the central theme of the creation and production of sounds through improvisations, using as a basic instrument our own body. The 7th workshop, entitled: "Speech - Rhythm - Melody. The composition of the music and its basic components" in collaboration with the international group of artists from Hamburg" Waav Kollektiv "took place in the event hall of the Chrysogelos building on the ground floor, accompanied by the appropriate material equipment, which the artists brought with them, musicians and organizers. The workshop was opened by the Hub Manager of the program Mr. Vassilios Artikos who first welcomed the participants and then prefaced and introduced to the audience the speakers Mr. Christos Farmakis (musician) and Mounir Brinsi (musician) and referred to the topic mentioned above which speakers will analyze interactively and at the same time making practical application of the techniques they use, thus transmitting them to the public. The two speakers showed the participants the ways in which we use our bodies to produce sounds, while cultivating our imagination. They focused on the fact that music unites people of different musical cultural currents as it is a basic code of communication and contributes to socialization. Mounir Brinsi then demonstrated to the public the table machine he uses in his work to produce sound and invited participants to form a team which, under his guidance, each used his body through various movements to produce sounds. as a music kinesiology course. The purpose was to synchronize with our body and set ourselves free in the rhythm of the sound it produces. At the end of the workshop, the participants enjoyed listening to the combination of different musical currents by the musicians Costas Vrettos (Decipher), Stefanos-Filippos Diamantopoulos and Christos Farmakis. In addition, a buffet with cool drinks and delicacies was offered.

The workshop was also broadcast with LIVE STREAMING through the page of the Chamber of Aetoloakarnania on Facebook.
