6th Cultural Industry Workshop (Creative @ Hubs)

The Chamber of Aetoloakarnania in the context of the implementation of the operation "Holistic networking of creative media through collaborative spaces (hubs) Holistic networking of creative industries through hubs - Creative @ Hubs",

co-organized the 6th workshop to expand knowledge on: "Portrait Rally - Learn to sketch and create portraits in 20 minutes" in collaboration with the "International group of artists (Waav Kollektiv)"

The 6th workshop of the cultural industry that was carried out in the framework of the “Creative @ Hubs” program was successfully held on Monday, October 11, at 18:00 a.m. with the central theme of the creation of portraits in a specific time through various techniques. The 6th workshop, entitled: "Portrait Rally - Learn to sketch and create portraits in 20 minutes" in collaboration with the international group of artists from Hamburg "Waav Kollektiv" took place outside the Chrysogelos building first and then in event hall of the building on the ground floor due to extreme weather events, accompanied by the appropriate equipment which was distributed to attendees (paints, brushes, watercolor blocks) etc. to draw their own sketches on paper. The workshop was opened by the Hub Manager of the program, Mr. Vasilios Artikos who first welcomed the participants and then prefaced and introduced to the audience the speakers Katharina Langer (illustrator) and Jens Ole Remmers (graduate of sculpture and fine arts) and addressed the topic which the above speakers will analyze interactively. The first speaker, guiding the participants to create different portraits through a fun game of colors and shapes, shared her knowledge about the free depiction of portraits and objects, cultivating each of us a personal sensory look. Then spoke the 2nd speaker Jens Ole Remmers (graduate of sculpture and fine arts) who making a flashback to his work, focused on human interaction with nature which is represented in his paintings. Finally, the participants placed their creations in the event hall of the building on the ground floor and then followed a fruitful and constructive discussion with the organizers and speakers. At the end of the workshop, a buffet with cool drinks and delicacies was offered outside the building.

The workshop was also broadcast with LIVE STREAMING through the page of the Chamber of Aetoloakarnania on Facebook.
