The "Reading Marathon for Messolonghi during the war of independence" organized in recent years by the Association of Friends of Valveios Library is now an institution in the context of the Exodus Memorial Days. After two years of readings’ postponement due COVID pandemic, we are meeting again this year at the Garden of Heroes in Messolonghi, on Friday, April 8, 2022, from 9.30 p.m. to the early morning hours of the next day to share favourite readings about the Sacred City during the years of the Struggle against the ottoman occupation.
