"Juvenile Novel Writing Techniques & Style" in collaboration with Author-teacher Mrs. Fotini Mylona-Raidi.

The 8th workshop of the cultural industry that took place within the framework of the “Creative @ Hubs” program was successfully held on Saturday, October 16 at 19:00 p.m. with a central theme of how to write a youth novel (techniques, style) and how it is reduced to a product of cultural industry, finding appeal in the reading public. Specifically, the book of Mrs. Fotini Mylona-Raidi entitled: "Out of the golden frame" which deals with the thoughts and concerns of adolescents in a particularly sensitive and transitional period. The 8th workshop, entitled: "Techniques & Style of Writing a Youth Novel." in collaboration with the author-teacher Mrs. Fotini Mylona Raidi took place in the event hall of the Chrysogelos building on the ground floor and outside accompanied by the appropriate equipment. The workshop was opened by the Hub Manager of the program, Mr. Vassilios Artikos, who initially welcomed the participants in the building and informed them about the spaces, its operation as well as the exhibitions that take place during this period and are accessible to the public during working hours and days. Then he introduced the speakers Mrs. Fotini Mylona Raidi, Mrs. Chrysoula Spyreli (Dr. of Literature) and Mrs. Irini Raidi (psychologist) as she mentioned the issues that will be analyzed by the above speakers interactively. He did not fail to mention by name the students who took part in the theatrical event under the guidance of Mrs. Eleftheria Tsakanika (teacher) which followed at the end of the speeches. So, starting her presentation, Mrs. Fotini Mylona Raidi presented her book, the source of its inspiration, the feelings and thoughts that flooded  and followed her throughout her writing career, which was particularly lonely. He also referred to the plot of the book, as well as the stages that went through its conception, writing and publication. Then Mrs. Chrysoula Spireli took the floor and read excerpts from the book, animating various scenes, emphasizing the narrative techniques used by the author to touch the soul of the reader, creating a dialectical relationship with them consciously (concerns of parents and adolescents) making the book more accessible and familiar for each reader to identify with it. Finally, the third speaker, Mrs. Irini Raidi, taking occasion from the presentation of the book, exposed the benefits of reading in the mental health of children as a compensation for the dominance of the image projected by the modern media. It focused mainly on the positive effect of the book on the preservation of people's mental health and on the essential communication between them. At the end of the presentations, a theatrical event followed by students who performed scenes and excerpts of the book with absolute success, conveying to the attendees a youthful pure spontaneity that is the quintessence of the book. At the end of the workshop, a discussion with the public followed and a buffet with cool drinks and delicacies was offered outside the building.

The workshop was also broadcast with LIVE STREAMING through the page of the Chamber of Aetoloakarnania on Facebook.
